Military bunkers

Below the Devínska Nová Ves – Schlosshof cycle bridge stands one of the light fortification structures popularly known as “ropíky” (after ŘOP – Ředitelství opevňovacích prací, the Directorate of Fortification Works, which was responsible for their construction). It is partially restored and preserved, but has no interior equipment or weapons. It is managed by the Bratislava Self-Governing Region and is occasionally opened to the public.
