Petržalka – Storytelling SK-AT

At 8:55 p.m. on 6 August 1959, Corporal Alojz S. heard some scratching of the wires and muffled noises while performing his border patrol shift in the Petržalka area. After checking the wire barrier at the spot where the sounds were coming from, he saw the motionless body of Ján K. He was killed by the high voltage fed to the second wall of the wire barrier while trying to crawl under the first electric wire.
