Jarovce – Storytelling SK-AT

In the morning hours, Tibor W. was advancing south of the village of Jarovce towards the Austrian border. He crossed the road leading to the state border in a corn field that covered his movement. He exited the field and approached the three-wire barrier by crawling. He scaled the first wall. However, he was struck by high voltage while going through the second wall. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot on 30 November 1954.
