The village is located on the border betweenAustria and the Czech Republic. The most dominant sacral monument is the Church of St John the Baptist’s but also the Chapel of the Birth of Our Lord or the Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary. It is also home to an original Baroque château, which is considered the biggest historical secular building in the village, and a Haban Yard too. Close to the village there is the Čeker – Devil’s well state natural reserve. The area along the river is sought after by cyclists because of its marked cyclepaths following well-tended tarmac roads. Thanks to the border bridge between Moravský Svätý Ján in Slovakia and Hohenau an der March in Austria, you can easilyexplore other interesting places as well.
