Jedenspeigen Palace and Museum

Jedenspeigen Palace was first mentioned in writing in 1296 already and in 1600 it was rebuilt into a Renaissance building with a moat. King Ottakar II of Bohemia, who in 1278 lost the fatal battle against Rudolf I von Habsburg, set up his camp near Jedenspeigen. The current Baroque palace houses an exhibition documenting this battle. Picturesque wine alleys lead away from the palace and if youtake the hiking trails route you can walk through the vineyards all the way to Sierndorf. From the hill, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Morava River meadow, villages in Slovakia and the Small Carpathians mountain range.
